The Anantrao Thopte college is on leading position about the advanture activities. Bhor is situated in hilly area that is Sahyagiri riges and vallays which is the part of Western Ghat. The college has established "Sahyagiri Trekking Club" in 1985 to achive the object of give the inspiration to the students studding in college behond that the club work help to personality development of students. As an hobby and sport the trekking activity help to increase the happiness among the participants. It is one of the traditional as well as modern sport.

Sahyagiri Trekking club arrange the treks for college students (boys and girls) in sahadhry ridge, valleys and forts. The trekking activity helps to increase the physical capacity among the participants and also to support increase the knowlege of nature and socity. The NCC officer of our college Lt. Cdr. Dr. R. D. jadhavar working as Coordinator of the Sahyagiri Trekking Clubs.

During the last five years Sahyagiri Trekking Club had arranged various treks at different places in western ghat i. e. Hirdoshi To Shivtharghal, Karsubai To Harishchandraghal, Wasota To Mahabaleshwar, Raireshwar To Arthar-Seat, Lonawara To BhimaShankar, rajgad To Raigad, nageswar To Tiwarepass and varoius forts i.e. Rohideswar, Raireshwar, Wasota, Makarndgad, Bhairavgad, Rajgad, Raigad, Sinhgad, Torana, Lingana, Prachitigad, harishchandragad, Mangalgad, Trikona, Dhakbhairi, Vishalgad, Salher-Mulel and Ratangad

Through the trekking activity our boys and girls visited to major forts in western gad which is situated from Goa to Nashik area.our trekking club coordinator himself participated 14 Himalyan trekking expeditions and 04 Hirgili hills trekking expeditions. He is the life memeber of "YOUTH HOSTELS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA (YHAI)". He had played the important role to work as a leader in various YHAI trekking expeditions.
