This College was established in 1982 At the initial stage, the strength was 205, which increased gradually. At present, there are three full-fledged faculties with post-graduate Departments of Marathi, English, Economics, Political Science, Commerce, Computer science and Chemistry. In the academic year 2015-16, the total strength of the college was 4500. Out of this, 2500 were female students. Keeping pace with the changing times, the institution has incorporated some vocational courses also. They are Functional English and Computer Application. The college has an independent library building.The college also highlights the importance of sports in life. The well-furnished gymkhana and other sports facilities encourage the students to participate in sports activities. We take pride in claiming that our college pioneers the movement of higher education in this taluka. We are aware that it is our reasponsibility to take this movement ahead.
