Outreach programme at Anantrao Thopte College, Bhor - 8th Jan 2009

Bhor is the tehsil place which comes under BYST Mentor Chapter - Shirval. There are good no. of industries, technical institutions and enterprises surrounding Bhor. Anantrao Thopte College is one of the biggest colleges in the area. Mr. Surel Kulkarni from Nichrome India Ltd. and Mr. Vilas Shivtare (who owns an engineering unit) are active mentors of the chapter. They took initiatives and organised one programme in Bhor with the help of Principal of A. T. Collge, Dr. Prasanna Deshmukh. The programme held in the auditorium of A.T. College. There were around 40 participants attended the programme. BYST mentors who attended the programme included Mr. R. K. Deshpande, Mr. Suresh Bute, Mr. Vilas Shivatare, Mr. Surel Kulkarni, Adv. B. Pandit, Dr. Nagendra Chaube, Mr. Mandar Paithankar. Mr. N. S. Ghadage in charge, BYST- BoB cell, was also present. Mr. B. M. Takawale (Chairman, BYST Mentor Chapter - Saswad) delivered special address to motivate new mentors.

Outreach programme at Anantrao Thopte College, Bhor - 3rd March 2009

After the successful programme at A. T. College, Bhor on 8th January 2009, Principal Dr. Prasanna Deshmukh showed keen interest to work with BYST. He organised one more bigger programme and took initiative to arrange the programme. Mr. Surel Kulkarni (Nichrome India Ltd.) and Mr. Ahmed Kazi (Reporter of local news paper) had a responsibility for publicity of the programme. The programme got good response from the area and more than 100 people attended the programme. Mr. S. V. Joshi, Chairman of Nichrome India Ltd. and Member of Strategic Committee, BYST, was the Chief Guest for the programme. Ms. Madhuri Bhavarthi was disbursed at the time of the programme. Mr. R. K. Deshpande gave presentation on BYST. Mr. Abhay Khatavkar & Mr. Krishna Bhavarthi shared their experiences with the audience. Mr. S. V. Joshi motivated youth for self employment by his excellent speech. Dr. Nagendra Chaube, Mr. Surel Kulkarni, Mr. Mandar Paithankar, Mr. Vilas Shivatare, Mr. Madhukar Paithankar were present from mentors side. After the programme, Principal Dr. Deshmukh announced that separate cell will be formed in A. T. College, Bhor to promote entrepreneurship in that area. It will be represented by two professors to coordinate with BYST for sourcing prospective entrepreneurs. A. T. College has also signed the Letter of Cooperation (LoC) with BYST. Also it was announced that one programme will be organised in each month. In Shirval, the mentors got involved one of the local institution- Anatrao Thopte College which is providing a variety of courses. BYST signed a (LOC) letter of cooperation with this institute for sourcing entrepreneurs. The partner organization organised outreach programmes in its premises. The principal of the college became a BYST mentor and he announced in the last meeting that the college constituted entrepreneur cell with specific room for displaying BYST material & conducting necessary sessions and other outreach activities. There are two dedicated staff also for coordination with BYST - college and the new budding entrepreneurs.Thanks to the mentor chapter for great efforts.
