About the Department
List of Faculties
The Department of English was established in 1982. The Undergraduate course was started in 1982 and Postgraduate course was started in 1993. The department also offers a job oriented course in Functional English which was started in 2004. The faculty in the department is well qualified with a wide academic experience. The strength of the department is that two faculty members are Ph.D. holders and one is pursuing Ph.D. All faculty members are techno-savvy. The department constantly strives to equip the students from hilly and rural area with knowledge, attitude and skills.
